I feel like I am just repeating myself because these same books have been on other TTT seasonal TBR lists. But I need to be serious this time. I am going to Book Con in June and simply MUST read these books I picked up from the previous Book Cons. I have more than ten, but I am only listing the ones I want to read first.

1) Book Con 2014: Interview With the Vampire, by Anne Rice (20th Anniversary Edition).
2) Book Con 2015: Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld.
3) Book Con 2015: Illuminae: The Illuminae Files – 01, by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (which is an ARC by the way. The whole trilogy is out now. So I am WAY behind.)
4) Book Con 2015: H2O, by Virgina Bergin.
5) Book Con 2017: Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova.
6) Book Con 2017: The Immortals by Jordanna Max Brodsky.
7) Book Con 2017: The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst.
8) Book Con 2017: Nyxia by Scott Reintgen. Also an ARC.

I also want to squeeze in two audiobooks:
9) Queen’s Shadow by E.K. Johnston
10) Star Wars: Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray

January 22: Books I Meant to Read In 2018 but Didn’t Get To

1) The World of All Souls: A Complete Guide to A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night, and the Book of Life
I meant to read it during Christmas break. Well, now I’ll wait until September 18. Or maybe the series coming to the US in January will light a fire under me. We’ll see.

The rest of these are, mostly, from conventions.

2) After On: A Novel of Silicon Valley by Rob Reid
3) Year Zero by Rob Reid
4) Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel.
5) The Secret History by Donna Tartt.
6) Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice.
7) We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.
8) Alone by Scott Sigler.
9) Out of the Easy Ruta Sepetys.
10) The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst.

January 15: New-to-Me Authors I Read In 2018

1) Alexandre Dumas. I know he had help with The Count of Monte Cristo, but I don’t care. I loved listening to it on Audible.
2) Stephen King. I know he has been around forever but I finally listened to The Shining and Doctor Sleep.
3) Kendare Blake wrote Three Dark Crowns. I want to get the next books from the library.
4) C.A. Higgins wrote the Lightless trilogy. I liked it so much I read them straight through.
5) Ania Ahlborn wrote Within These Walls.
6) Kim Wilkins wrote Daughters of the Storm. I have an ARC of the sequel.
7) Chantal Fernando wrote Wolf’s Mate. It was alright. Don’t think I’ll read any of her other books since it is not my type of genre.

These next two are Audible originals. Members get 2 free Audible Original downloads per month.
8) Dennis Kelly wrote Girls & Boys and it is narrated by Carey Mulligan. I cried.
9) Charles Olivier wrote Christmas Eve, 1914. I bawled my eyes out.
