New York Comic Con – Sunday, October 11

This will be a brief recap. I didn’t take any notes, only some photos. And two of my panels conflicted with each other.

First thing when sister and I arrived was get our Main Stage room bracelets for Sleepy Hollow. That way we can enjoy the con but have a bracelet for the panel at 4PM.

In the Empire Stage room starting at 1PM was the WB Television slot, featuring Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Blindspot, Supergirl, and Person of Interest. We got there before the WB panel and saw Minority Report. They showed an entire unfinished episode (no CGI) then there was a q&a. That was cool.

Of course for the WB panel they didn’t present the shows as it is written in the description. They saved Gotham for last, which we had to choose between Gotham and Sleepy Hollow. We left to see Sleepy Hollow because I heard Tom Mison would be there.

One show at a time though.

Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), and Ciara Renée (Shayera Hol/Hawkgirl). The trailer looks really cool and I’ll be tuning in to check it out. I already watch The Flash and Arrow. Those two shows having been setting up the spin off.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Supergirl, they showed us the pilot which I liked. Then there was a short q&a with Mehcad Brooks (James Olson) and Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord) and one of the producers. I am blanking on her name. I wish Calista Flockhart was there too. I really like her as Cat Grant.

Next was Blindspot, but we left to go queue up for Sleepy Hollow.
For Sleepy Hollow they showed the previous epiosde, which I had not seen yet and then there was a q&a. Tom Mison had to cancel becuase they were shooting. 😦

But Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny), Zach Appelman (Joe Corbin) and Nikki Reed (Betsy Ross) were there.
Peter and Nikki in one day. A mini Twilight reunion!
I totally ship Jenny and Joe. Just had to say that.

Tom did text a note to Zach to read to us, apologizing for his absence. I can’t remember any of it, but it  was really funny. Zach tried to say it in Tom’s voice and accent. Tom must have seen a livefeed of the panel because he texted Zach back and said his immpression was horrible.

The lovely Nikki Reed talking about her role as Betsy Ross and how much fun she is having.

I’ll end this recap with a post of my pin collection.  The Jurrasic World pin, they gave us a whole ton of them after we took a photo with the Velocipraptor.
